Margot Kast started as a health insurance underwriter in Roseland, NJ at The Prudential. Later she worked in the financial industry and became a health insurance agent in 2002. She and her husband, Thom, bought a property and casualty agency in 2005 in Naples FL. They quickly became known for their educated approach to the increasingly challenging market of health insurance.
Together, Margot and Thom became appointed with all of the major health insurance providers including Assurant, Humana, United Healthcare, Cigna, Aetna, and Anthem. Once the Affordable Care Act became law, they became experts on how to qualify for and keep subsidies in today’s environment. They also brought their financial approach to Medicare to offer full services to those looking for guidance.
Margot, Thom and the team recognize that it is vital to keep up with changes in the law, understand the local provider market, and be available to customers. As small business owners, Margot and Thom have a unique understanding of the complexities many families face to remain adequately covered for health insurance.
